Cellular Connectivity that never lets you down
A camera that drops offline at 2am is a blind spot nobody notices until something happens. Security systems need a connection that holds up through storms, tower outages and busy network periods.
Titus Telecom’s multi-network IoT SIMs switch automatically between AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile, so cameras, alarm panels and access control keep reporting without relying on a single carrier or the site’s own internet.
Use cases
Where it fits: CCTV, alarms, access control and remote sites
From pole-mounted cameras on construction sites and car lots, to alarm panels moving off retired copper phone lines, to gate access control where no wired internet reaches, security hardware rarely sits next to a reliable internet connection. A cellular link gives each device its own path, independent of the network it protects. Titus Telecom’s SIMs connect to whichever carrier has the strongest signal at that exact spot, and a static IP lets your monitoring center reach the camera or recorder directly.
Why Security Companies Choose Titus Telecom
1. Fewer Blind Spots
Automatic carrier switching keeps cameras and alarms online when one network has an outage or a weak signal at the site.
2. Remote Access Without Workarounds
Static IP SIMs let you log in to cameras, recorders and routers directly, without port-forwarding fixes or a site visit.
3. One Portal, One Bill
See usage for every SIM, get alerts when a device goes quiet, and pay one consolidated bill across all your sites.
Keeping footage & alarm data secure
Video evidence and alarm signals only count if they arrive intact. Titus Telecom’s connectivity supports private APN and VPN setups, so camera streams, alarm events and access logs travel over a secured connection rather than the open internet, and your devices aren’t exposed to public scanning.

Security IoT Connectivity FAQs
Do security cameras need a static IP SIM card?
If you want to view or manage a camera remotely, usually yes. Many networks put standard SIMs behind shared addresses, which blocks inbound connections. A static IP SIM gives each camera or recorder a fixed address your team or monitoring center can reach directly.
How much data does a cellular security camera use?
It depends on resolution and how often you stream. A camera that only uploads motion clips may use a few gigabytes a month, while continuous HD streaming can use more than a gigabyte a day. We size a pooled data plan around your actual camera mix, so you aren’t paying for unused data on each line.
Can a cellular SIM replace the phone line on an alarm panel?
Yes, if the panel has a cellular communicator. With copper phone lines being retired across the US, many alarm companies are moving panels to cellular. A multi-network SIM keeps the panel reporting even if one carrier has an outage in the area.
What happens if one carrier goes down at a site?
The SIM automatically switches to whichever of AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile has the strongest signal at that location, so cameras and alarms keep reporting without anyone on site.
Can we add SIMs as we take on new sites?
Yes. There’s no long-term contract locking you into a fixed number of SIMs. Add lines when you win a contract and suspend them when a temporary site closes, all from the Titus IoT Portal.
